The National apare pe coloana sonoră a filmului "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" - AUDIO

Legat de această piesă şi apariţia ei într-un film cu succes la box-office, solistul Matt Berninger a ţinut să precizeze:

"Melodia era cât pe ce să nu apară pe coloana sonoră fiind considerată prea întunecată pentru această peliculă ceea ce mi se pare oarecum caraghios fiindcă filmul e despre uciderea unor tineri, nu ştiu cum poate fi o piesă mai neagră decât aşa ceva. Dar a trebuit să schimbăm numele cântecului ales prima dată 'Dying Is Easy' şi, de fapt, chiar îmi place titlul de acum. A fost o schimbare interesantă în maniera pe care noi o abordăm şi anume aceea de a scrie pentru altcineva. Astfel că deşi am simţit o anume presiune, ne-am bucurat mult să facem asta."

Formaţia The National a lansat pe 17 mai a.c. albumul "Trouble Will Find Me", reuşind să debuteze pe locul trei în topurile din Marea Britanie şi SUA. Urmăreşte clipurile a două melodii extrase de pe acest album, "Demons" şi "Sea Of Love".

Premiera filmului "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" / "Jocurile Foamei: Sfidarea" are loc în 22 noiembrie în cinematografele din SUA şi, simultan, şi în cinematografele de la noi. Alte trupe şi artişti care au compus pentru acest film sunt Coldplay, Christina Aguilera, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, Santigold.
