"Rockstar" conține nouă melodii originale, inclusiv o colaborare cu Stevie Nicks numită "What Has Rock And Roll Ever Done For You", "I Dreamed About Elvis" cu Ronnie McDowell și "Rockstar", alături de Richie Sambora. Printre cover-urile notabile, Sting o acompaniază pe Dolly Parton în "Every Breath You Take" de la Police, P!NK și Brandi Carlile participă la o interpretare a piesei "(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction" de la The Rolling Stones, Miley Cyrus cântă alături de Parton "Wrecking Ball”, iar Debbie Harry apare pe "Heart Of Glass".
