Steven Spielberg și al său "The Fabelmas" au câștigat cele mai importante trofee ale ceremoniei: "Cel mai bun regizor" și "Cel mai bun film dramatic". Pelicula este inspirată din viață lui Spielberg, și spune povestea unui adolescent care visează să devină cineast.
"The Banshees of Inisherin" a câștigat trei premii principale, inclusiv pentru cel mai bun scenariu, precum și pentru interpretarea lui Colin Farrell. Cate Blanchett a fost desemnată cea mai bună actriță într-o dramă pentru filmul "Tar", unde interpretează o dirijoare, iar cel mai bun actor la această categorie a fost Austin Butler pentru rolul din "Elvis".
"House of the Dragon" a câștigat trofeul pentru cea mai bună dramă TV, iar "Abbott Elementary" a primit premiul pentru cea mai bună comedie TV. "The White Lotus" a fost desemnată cea mai bună serie limitată sau antologică.
Cea de-a 80-a ediție a Globurilor de Aur i-a onorat pe Eddie Murphy și Ryan Murphy cu premii speciale. Primul a primit trofeul Cecil B. DeMille, pentru cariera în filme. Ryan Murphy a primit Premiul Carol Burnett, care onorează realizările în televiziune.
