Formaţia a ţinut să marcheze Valentine's Day prin apariţia unui videoclip regizat de către Sophia Peer. Acesta este creionat alb-negru, iar pasajele filmate cu diferite cupluri care dansează reuşesc să întregească nota melancolică evidentă a melodiilor din repertoriul The National. Clipul ilustrează de fapt momentele de apropiere şi depărtare pe care orice cuplu le traversează de-a lungul timpului. Regizoarea a semnat şi alte două clipuri ale trupei ("Graceless", "Sea Of Love"), dar şi-a pus amprenta şi pe creaţii ale formaţiilor Paramore, Woods sau Forest Fire.
The National este un nume de referinţă în peisajul muzical internaţional, cu şase albume la activ, iar cel apărut anul trecut a ajuns pe poziţia cu numărul trei în top Billboard 200, fiind nominalizat şi la categoria "Cel mai bun album de muzică alternativă" din cadrul premiilor Grammy decernate luna trecută. În prezent, sunt numeroase zvonuri care confirmă prezenţa trupei la un festival important din această vară desfăşurat în România, însă noi date legate de acest eveniment vă vom furniza în curând.
Cert este că band-ul (constituit din Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Bryan Devendorf şi Scott Devendorf), după un turneu în America, va participa la numeroase reprezentaţii artistice în Europa, enumerând aici oraşe precum Barcelona, Hamburg, Edinburgh, Londra, Roma, Moscova sau Kiev (3 august).
